Course Categories
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy, or essential oil therapy, refers to a range of traditional, alternative or complementary therapies that use essential oils and other aromatic plant compounds.
The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) defines aromatherapy as “the therapeutic application or the medicinal use of aromatic substances (essential oils) for holistic healing.”

Users should be aware that “natural” products are also chemicals, and they can be hazardous if used in the wrong way. It is important to follow the advice of a trained professional when using essential oils.
Reiki
Reiki (ray-key) has its origins in Japan from the early 1900’s as shared by Sensei Usui, Mikao.
In North America it is recognized as beneficial for stress reduction, pain management and deep relaxation. It is gentle and deeply powerful.
Holistically it aims to relieve the body of physical, emotional and spiritual blockages.
The practice of Reiki is the art and science of channelling the universal life energy. In other cultures it is referred to as prana, chi, ki or spirit. It is a tool for transformation and healing.
We teach two styles of Reiki … Komyo ReikiDo directly from Japan and Usui Reiki Ryoho (Western Style as originally brought to North America by Mrs. Takata)
Money Mindset

Personal Development & Spirituality
First, let’s define ‘spirituality’ in the context of what we offer at the Academy.
Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. Generally, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves, and typically involves a search for meaning in life.
We do not connect spirituality to religion of any type or form in our classes.
Under this category, we explore various modalities for understanding why we are here, what we’re meant to share and how to navigate our journey through this lifetime.
Tools for exploration include: signs, symbols, animal symbology, meanings of names, interpretations, meditation, crystals, feng shui, numerology, astrology, tarot, energy work and more.
Business & Marketing
The Academy began offering “Business and Marketing” programs and courses around 2005 as a convenience to our students — allowing them to learn as they grew their service business.
Niki and Susan have both invested serious time and finances to continuously upgrade their professional education thus staying on the leading-edge of what is available and applicable in our field consistently, as we like to joke, “from the turn of the century” (when this photo was taken).
We have attended diverse conferences and trainings and had the opportunity to meet, connect and share time with many well-known, successful business people.
Scientific Hand Analysis
Our fingerprints are formed at approximately 14 weeks while we are in our mother’s womb. They do not change throughout our lifetime. The combination of fingerprints help us determine our life lesson — what it is we are here to learn, study and master.
The various lines and marks on our palms and fingers, as well as the shapes of our hands and fingers, do change throughout our lifetime.
Our palms hold a message to ourselves — a reminder of where we’ve been and the issues we are resolving. Lines will change, appear and disappear over time. From them we can also learn what is on the horizon for us.
Approximately 10-15% of the population has a special category of line formation in the hands called “gift markings”. Gift markings are two-fold. When not utilized, they become our challenges. We refer to the choice between using and not using, our gifts as the master path and the student path.
Susan first became acquainted with SHA in 2009 and began her certification in 2016.
